I am looking at getting one of these. I had a belt-clip thingy break off of one of my other lights. I was trying to get down a cliff-face and it caught on a rock my weight just snapped it clean off.

The platform is adjustable, it can be lowered to about elbow level, very comfortable to write on, if you have something stiff in the main compartment or the straps tightened down. Otherwise it’s a little floppy. But that’s the case even with the ZNG stuff.

I found with some other admin type rigs that you have to lower it way down almost to belt level to be able to really be able to write comfortably..
